We are proud to share that three of our projects and one team member have earned recognition as finalists for this year’s GGP Awards in Manchester. Each shortlisted project and colleague will receive a spotlight as we build up to the event. This week we are introducing our nomination for the ‘Best Installation – Commercial’. Lincolnshire property developer and contractor Stirlin Developments appointed Tradeglaze to supply our award-winning aluminium curtain walling and aluminium windows and aluminium doors for the beautiful new Duncan & Toplis and Wilkin Chapman LLP offices ‘Oxley House’ in Louth.
Oxley House is located on the Fairfield Industrial Estate on Lincoln Way and offers an impressive 10,000 sq. ft. of premium office space to the town. The two-storey building comprises of an open-plan office space, meeting rooms, kitchen facilities and a reception area.
Our experts specified Seniors Architectural Systems SF52 curtain walling profile due to its flexibility and ease of fabrication alongside Seniors SW600E aluminium casement windows, a robust, three-chamber, 75mm polyamide thermally broken aluminium window system.
The system has exceptional weather resistance quality, achieving 600Pa air permeability, 600Pa water tightness and 2400Pa wind resistance. This means excellent thermal and acoustic performance and stunning aesthetics.
The design is then completed with aluminium doors manufactured from matching profiles, highly secure and durable and ideal for a high-performance commercial door.
Howard Griffith, head of construction at Stirlin, said:
“This project was a pleasure to deliver alongside local construction delivery partners, and we’re really pleased to see the building complete and now being enjoyed by two flourishing businesses.
“Thank you to all involved who worked hard to deliver this brilliant facility.”
We are looking forward to attending the GGP installer awards on the 14th of March 2024, at The Midland Hotel in Manchester where our project is shortlisted as one of the UK’s best commercial installations. 🏆
Incidentally, Oxley House has also been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2024 Greater Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards, taking place on 1 February. Fingers Crossed for Stirlin Developments!
