We’re excited to celebrate Ashley Salt as our October Employee of the Month! As a vital part of our Trade Sales team, Ashley plays a key role in keeping our supply-only sales smooth and seamless. Known for his dedication and positive attitude, Ashley has earned this recognition for the second time, having been our very first Employee of the Month back in May 2021. His hard work and commitment have left a lasting impact on Tradeglaze, and we couldn’t be prouder to honour his contributions once again.
Ashley’s Career Journey at Tradeglaze
Reflecting on his time with us, Ashley shares, “I am incredibly proud of everything I’ve achieved and how much I’ve grown within the company over the past six years. I started in customer service, with little knowledge about double glazing, and now I’m part of the Trade Sales team. I’m especially proud of the relationships I’ve built with customers, carrying them with me from customer service into trade sales.”

For those considering a career in the glazing industry, Ashley’s advice is practical: “There’s a lot to learn—much more than you’d expect! But stick with it, because it’s incredibly rewarding once you’re in a position to help people with their projects.”

Ashley has a keen eye on the future of glazing, noting recent government initiatives. “With the £3.1 billion budget allocated toward new affordable housing, we can expect some impact on the industry. Additionally, the ongoing push for energy efficiency and net-zero targets will continue to influence window manufacturing and the way we work.”
Life Beyond the Glass
Outside of Tradeglaze, Ashley loves spending quality time with his family and watching his son Ashton grow. Recently engaged to his wonderful partner Amanda—congratulations, Ashley!—he balances work and family life beautifully. He also has a passion for car detailing and is a dedicated supporter of the Lincoln football team.
