Tradeglaze continues to invest in machinery with brand new Glazing Bead Saw

Tradeglaze is continuing with the plans to expand production with new machinery. Last month we took delivery of yet another saw into our uPVC factory. The brand new Digi-BS CNC Glazing Bead Saw by Avantek Machinery is a glazing bead saw and a length stop all-in-one. It boasts the ability to process angles from 20 – 180° and make arrow cuts.

This investment will allow us to streamline our production process making it faster, safer and overall more efficient for our staff and customers.

The Digi-BS has a fast cutting cycle due to the ‘short stroke’ action of the cutting blade. It has also been equipped with an adequate system for waste pieces to be expended from the machine and is supplied with two outlet ports for the dust extraction system.

With quick adjustment for blocks and a unique mechanical structure, Digi-BS saves time and reduces waste during the glazing bead-cutting process. The cutting area is fully protected by a guard which can be opened for access. For the operator’s safety, it is interlocked with a safety function which prevents the machine from opening during operation.

The new Avantek DigiBS CNC Glazing Bead Saw is the fifth addition to the fabricator’s portfolio in the last 12 months. The upgrade follows on from the recent sawing and machining centre that the company’s uPVC factory took delivery in June earlier this year.
