Tradeglaze Invests in Future Growth with New Emmegi Cutting Machine
Tradeglaze has taken delivery of a new cutting machine for our Aluminium factory. Following an investment of over £500,000 in machinery over the last year, the new Emmegi Precision TS2 double mitre saw is part of our long-term sustainable growth plan.
Tradeglaze group managing director Jeremy Wetherall says, “This investment signals our commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality Aluminium products. The new Emmegi machine offers several key benefits, including remote and computer optimised operation, which will help reduce error and waste as well as providing additional safety measures.”
Daniel Dickson, Aluminium Manager at Tradeglaze, further elaborates on the advantages of the new machine. “The Emmegi is a game-changer for our Aluminium production process. It delivers increased accuracy, reducing scrap and cycle times, while its machining cycle is optimised for maximum efficiency. This translates to faster turnaround times and ultimately better service for our customers.”
The Emmegi Precision TS2 allows for various cutting options, including over-length, short-cut, bevel, and even transform arrowhead cuts. The absolute accuracy of angles is electronically programmable, eliminating manual adjustments and guaranteeing precision to an impressive 280 positions per degree. Additionally, it manages all angles from 45° internal to 15° external, with hydro-pneumatic cylinder-driven blade feeds.
The purchase of the Emmegi machine is part of the our ambitious growth plan that includes investment in product development, safety protocols, professional development and comprehensive staff training for our Tradeglaze teams.
Jeremy Wetherall concludes, “We understand the importance of planning for the long term and developing in all areas of the business. Ultimately, this allows us to continue to provide our trade, commercial and domestic customers with exceptional quality double glazing and a five-star service our group of companies are well known and recommended for.”
